At DME, we do it differently than most event planners/caterers – we want you to revel in this step of your life because it truly is magical. We immerse ourselves in the little details and get to know the likes and dislikes of our clients so as to customize each and every experience. We know every couple has a different focus – something that is important to them or loved ones that may not be important to the next person, and we love that. We don’t believe in “cookie-cutter” events – we feel that your special day should be a reflection of you, your partner, and the life that you are creating together.

Meet The Team

Deborah Minarik

I like to think of myself as Queen of Controlled Chaos.  Typically my life and my days are whirlwinds of activity, I thrive on it. Don’t get me wrong, I do love down time…. When I'm not on the computer or running a wedding, I'm either at the beach, sifting through the racks at TJ Maxx, or enjoying margaritas with my love Steven.  On a good day, I'm on my Peloton (my latest addiction). I am blessed with 3 great kids - 2 in college and one on her way soon (dreading that day) and I am exceptionally proud of them.  My life is good and it is full.


I have always been in the hospitality industry in one way or the other.  My last life, as I refer to it, was working as a Corporate Flight Attendant on Warner Brother's private airplanes.  Yes, this was the ultimate dream job and it's where my love of parties, great food, and all things fun began.  After those years, I ran a boutique catering business for many successful years while being home and raising my kids. 

Eventually catering flowed into party planning and then wedding planning - my true love as far as businesses go.



Over the years in the wedding planning business (13 and counting), I've built a really special team at Deborah Minarik Events.  When you hire us, you hire a friend, a confidante, and an advocate.  We want to plan with you not just for you.  We want to know what you like and don't like so we can help curate (together) the most amazing day ever.  Should you end up working with myself or anyone of the incredible women on my team, you will be in good hands.  We are going to make sure you have the best day ever!

I’m Becky. Being a mama of 4 littles, I bring my love of organizing chaos, patience, and ability to multitask to Wedding Coordination. I love hearing your vision and working together to bring it to life! How lucky am I that I get to be a part of your big day?! 


When I’m not working, you can find me strolling the aisles of Target, running around with my kids, or begging my husband for another pet!

Kristin Patton

Event Planner

Kristin Patton is a passionate and dedicated weddingplanner with over 15 years of experience in the service industry. With herexceptional organizational skills, creative flair, and warm personality,Kristin has become a go-to professional for couples seeking to create theirdream weddings.


As a mother of two bright daughters and being married for11 wonderful years, Kristin understands the importance of crafting memorablemoments that reflect the unique love stories of each couple. She believes thata wedding should not only be a celebration of love but also an experience thatcaptures the essence of the couple's journey together.


Kristin's extensive background in teaching dance for 18years has honed her ability to choreograph and coordinate intricate detailsflawlessly. Her deep understanding of movement, rhythm, and aesthetics enablesher to orchestrate every aspect of a wedding with grace and elegance.



With Kristin as your wedding planner, you can expect apersonalized and stress-free planning process. She will work closely with youto understand your vision, incorporating your individual style and preferencesinto every aspect of the event. Suzanne is a dynamic professional with a diverse background in television production and Human Resources. Her unwavering passion for corporate events and extensive production experience seamlessly merged when she discovered her true calling as a wedding planner. Starting her journey as a bride of Deborah Minarik Events, Suzanne quickly recognized her innate talent for orchestrating unforgettable weddings.


Suzanne prioritizes providing couples with a completely stress-free planning experience and a flawless wedding day.


Beyond her professional endeavors, Suzanne finds solace in her personal interests. She can often be found indulging in the latest Netflix series, embracing the thrill of snowboarding during winter months, and cherishing quality time with friends at lively happy hour gatherings.



With a unique blend of creativity, professionalism, and a genuine love for crafting unforgettable moments, Suzanne is dedicated to making every couple's dream wedding a reality.

Stephanie

Office Manager

Meet Stephanie, the heart and soul of our wedding planning team. Born and raised on Long Island, she has a dual degree in PR and Psychology from Hofstra University. Stephanie stumbled upon working in this industry and was hooked from the start.


Having a 15 year relationship with her husband and raising two small children, she understands the essence of meaningful celebrations. Stephanie's knowledge of vendors and venues, and all things Weddings, coupled with a genuine love for people make her a valuable asset in crafting unforgettable moments.


Beyond the world of weddings, Stephanie is a coffee addict who loves a good tv show binge or movie night and is a (not so) secret teenie bopper (BSB FOR LIFE). She also enjoys quality time with family and simply relaxing at home.

Event Planner

Hi! My name is Alexandra but you can call me Alex! Being an Engineer by trade, I bring my love of organizing and spreadsheets to the world of event planning! I am very detail oriented with every aspect in my life. Whenever there is a social gathering or a trip to be planned, I am that friend who has an itinerary prepared and experiences lined up to make sure everything is organized perfectly to create memories for a lifetime!


When not working, you can find me at the beach, traveling the world, or brewery hopping with my husband and our fur baby, Willy the Corgi.
